Daphne's

Went to Daphne’s for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely perfect! Definitely make a reservation, the inside is so charming, it really feels like you’ve been transported to Italy. Cozy, cute, and full of great vibes, with service that was top-notch. We started with a few cocktails, and they even surprised us with a little happy birthday treat, which was such a sweet touch. For dinner, we tried the Ravioli di Mozzarella and the Risotto, both were incredible. If you’re in Chelsea and looking for a cozy, authentic Italian spot for a special night out, I highly recommend Daphne’s.

The linguine with scallops was excellent, and the seabass was cooked perfectly, though the sauce wasn’t to my taste so I couldn’t finish it. Decor is stylish and the staff are extremely attentive—at times a little too present, but always very polite and helpful. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant.

We visited the restaurant for lunch during the Christmas season, and the atmosphere was truly magical! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious—while a bit on the pricier side, the quality and presentation made it completely worth it. Coming in with our 4-year-old and without a reservation, the team was fantastic at quickly finding us a table and ensuring we were comfortable. A truly memorable experience for the whole family!

Daphne’s is a beautifully designed restaurant — elegant interior, warm lighting, and a very central location. The food is good, especially the pasta and seafood dishes, but the overall experience can be hit or miss depending on the night. During my visit, the atmosphere was uncomfortably loud — conversations drowned out even at close tables, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. The service also lacked warmth; the staff seemed rushed and distant, which didn’t match the restaurant’s otherwise refined image. If you’re visiting, go for lunch on a weekday rather than dinner — it’s quieter, and you can actually enjoy the lovely décor and food. Daphne’s has charm, but it needs a bit more attentiveness and calm to live up to its reputation.

Daphne’s is such a charming and welcoming restaurant. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, and the team is super friendly. The Italian food is absolutely outstanding – authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Located in a very trendy area, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a special dinner. My husband and I just dined at Daphne’s for the first time since we had our wedding breakfast held there back in June. Food, service and atmosphere are impeccable - we wouldn’t have wanted to host our wedding breakfast anywhere else and on our return visit, standards remain the same. Firstly to speak about our meal and experience this past weekend: we ate seabass crudo and courgette flowers to start and spaghetti alla vongole and mushroom and pea risotto for our main. Both were delicious and our meal ended on their famous tiramisu, definitely the best in London. Secondly, regarding our wedding day: the event was seamless from start to finish, with excellent service led by Anton. We cannot thank Daphne’s enough for providing such a memorable experience and we are so happy to always have special memories from here. Thank you once again and we will be dining with you again, I’m sure!

Daphne’s is a pleasant and inviting restaurant with a warm, festive atmosphere. The Christmas decorations add a cozy touch, and the overall mood is relaxed and welcoming — a lovely place to settle in for an evening meal. The food was good and well prepared, but it didn’t quite live up to the high price point. While the dishes were enjoyable, they lacked the extra finesse or wow factor one might expect given the cost. All in all, Daphne’s offers a nice setting, good service, and a cheerful holiday ambiance, but it feels slightly overpriced for what you get.
